How to add an element

I was wonder how to add an element to the back of the purple arrow. I'm trying to make a shuttle coaster and I wanted to add an element to the back spike. Also, I wanted to know how to make a barrel roll on an upper angle. PLEASE HELP! I want to make my first coaster!

ok, there's two buttons in the editor side by side.... the one with the red dot puts it in front of the last track node. the other one (purple triangle) adds a track node to the other side of the starting point...

click the purple triangle one [;)]

and as for the second request, please specify what you mean; do you want to create a roll going straight up like wicked twister/vertical velocity?? or, do you want to create a banked turn going upwards?? [confused]

i want to make one like vertical velocity.

Hold shift and press V, that creates a segment behind the starting point (purple arrow).

I can add a track behind it, but I can't insert an element. How do I do that?

erm, the elements don't work like you think they would, sometimes it's helpful, sometimes it isn't, unfortunately you have to make the wicked twisterness your self.

well, ya to make a wicked twister-type roll, youll just have to experiment and find out what works out best, i guess... good luck [;)]

you can't add element to the back.

The way to do it to save the entire track as an element. Then delete the entire track and place the first vertex where you want the element you want to put behind should END. Then insert the element you want and after that re-insert the rest of the track.
