left click the file then highlight "send to" and click compressed(zipped)folder

you know, zips don't do that good of job of compressing. It takes off several kilobytes, maybe a megabyte, but does is it really worth it?

Most people don't have winrar. Windows XP compressed folders only lets you open zips.
While zips don't compress that much, if you count a large number of files, it saves tons of space.
