Just my $.02 for this topic:

This site is NOT a vehicle for banned CS members to get back to. If you got banned from there, don't come here and cry about it. We welcome everyone's membership, and we are glad you participate here, but we are not here to assist you in getting back into CS.

Just my thoughts.

Cs.com was like this site is now back in November. then, they got rid of the top 10 list, added a rating restriction, and made the "ten most recent uploads page" the only way to access that weeks coasters. Just after that happened, I was banned. However my friends from that site, (Hansixx, WWS, and Decept) turned me on to this great coaster site. I would be greatly dissapointed if this site ever sinks down to their level and makes the whole thing nothing but a big competition where yur uploads get lost in an endless list of crap coasters that nobody wants to see and only rates to keep their download privelages intact. Oh, well. Just my opinion. At CS.com, I was a customer. Here, I'm a member of a community of fellow coaster nerds. WHEE!

Sounds like cs.com is really a bad site. Well, i cant go there anyways so who cares, and out of all the sites that I am registered at, wws.com is by far the best.

It would be nice though to see more people rate more tracks instead of just downloading them and not rating. I see many great coasters get 1-2 ratings but get over 100 dl's. Would be really nice to see more rates in my opinion.

I rate almost all of the coasters i download, but I do agree that some more coasters should be rated, I always rate a track when i see that it hasn't been rated at all, so the poor track doesnt get left at 0.

I rate what I download, although I often can't rate recreations.(since I haven't ridden the real thing).

Im really not going to say much on the cs.com topic.

Although i was 14 when i signed up, Seuss let me in regardless, they used to be cool there. I think everythings changed for the worse. (lightwarmths like 13 or something and he got in aswell)

Also i cant say i download many tracks here, i just like to be part of the community, and have a laugh with everyone here. Thats what these sites are about, not just the coasters...

[lol] @ Alerlatus. Hey Alerlatus, have you tried rating the other Ultimate Ride, Coaste Deluxe or Disney Coaster Rides? They usually rate you back once you rate them. It's always nice to do something for others if you want something too.

I usually only see ratings on NL coasters, not very many on SM, but there are some that do have a couple of ratings, HR coasters never get ratings practically, and DC or CD i've never seen one rating ever for those.

I like staying active in both sites. This site is much more friendlyer than CS mostly becuase its alot smaller which makes it more enjoyable. CS.com if anything to me, is more of an "official" coaster site for NL, HR, and SM. The biggest problem with CS is some of the lesser known designers don't get as many downloads and rates. Its sad to see a coaster win the gold medal with 67 rates and silver has 15, thats just a lil' bit ofset. But one thing I do enjoy alot on CS is the No Restraint section, some of the movies made in that are awesome.
