On a related note, I have good news. NTG is running extremely well as of Friday...as good at 3pm as it was running during Night ERT in May. It's definitely breaking in

I don't know if anyone noticed this but... this ride looks awesome as heck.

Oh, it most definitely is. The drop beats Millennium Force's by far (I'm only comparing to it because it seems that everyone is familiar with MF's drop). And now that it's 4 months old, it feels a little more natural than it did when it opened. It felt too smooth a couple months ago, but now you can slightly feel where the track was bolted together, which I think is better than before.

this ride just a fail
they took out the helix around the lift hill and just put in a sweeping drop and alot of led tunnels

im not impressed by adding a few things then getting rid of something and hoping no one notices.
i liked it the way it was, old wood with a bit of rattle n bit

Not really. Id say the opposite, and that el toros drop even beats it by a bit. Its a GREAT drop dont get me wrong, but not better than mf.

Probably the most ignorant post I've read. You sir, Have no clue what you're talking about.

^^Weird, MF's drop isn't that great. Even had an insanely fast ride a few nights ago where I actually got floater over the 2 middle hills (only on the back sides of each, rode in the back) but the drop wasn't all I remembered. The G's just don't hit me quick enough. Its such a slow on-set.

I agree. Perhaps it's because NTAG raised my standards for a good coaster a great amount. Or maybe MF's drop simply isn't that great. I'm not sure, but 19 out of 21 rides on NTAG so far have been in the back seat, and 2 out of 4 on MF have been in the back seat, and I wasn't very impressed. It sounds like a fanboy-ish response on my part, but at least I'm a fanboy for the right reason. This ride just flat out kicks ass (before the tunnels at least).

I've ridden NTAG, El Toro, and MF all within the last year. NTAG has the best drop in my opinion.

And after riding Bizarro a few weeks ago, which is still my #1, NTG is a SOLID #2 coaster for me. It's that good

@Real: I guess I rode MF on a "fast night", because I remember getting floater on the two so-called "dull hills" and awesome airtime on the backrow for the first drop.

Why can't it run that fast all the time! I can't imagine it being slower paced...that'd be like 0.3G on the hills which would just be a complete bummer.

Everything about MF is a bummer, especially this amazing drop everyone seams to enjoy. It's not even like a top 10 drop for me...
