Does anyone here know of a video capturing program similar or better than Fraps?

I'm willing to pay for it, but, it would be nice if it were free.

If you?????????re willing to pay, why don't you buy fraps. You can capture full resolution videos even in the 30 second demo without destroying the frame rate entirely.

Just wondering if there was anything better or of equal quality that's maybe a little bit cheaper than $37.

Wow its 37 now? I got mine for like 25 or 30 I think. Free updates then after.

I think thats about par for the course. Its a very simple and effective tool. You wouldnt be disappointed.
