First, I'd choose Intamin ejectors and wooden coasters. Then rocket coasters, anything launched by Intamin and eventually B&M speed coasters. I don't really enjoy inversions apart from inversions on inverted coasters, zero-g-rolls and the Stengel dive on Goliath.

WTF, are these the list of Kindergartener's coasters....

1. Do some research on types of rollercoasters
2. Get more "Status" here and learn that this thread is retarded
3. Use forum search

Well, I don't really have a favorite. Simply because you've got to have multiple types of coasters at your park. For Example....
I think you have to have at least one launched coaster of some type
a looper of any type
a wooden roller coaster
and a steel air time machine. (This is not neccessary, though, depending on how well the park maintains thier wooden coaster)

Basically, to me there's no real specific coaster I like, I just like a ride that does what its intended to do to the best of its ability, and I like a park that has more than just 1 style of ride.

There are hardly 6 airtime machines worldwide. I hope the parks will get more coasters like this since those rides are better than good. Mitch's polls have those coasters on the top of the list. For me this is always all about airtime rather than inversions. The only question is whether future megas will keep lap bars or not.

I definitely pick woodies as my favourite. They have much more character than most steel coasters and every ride can be a new experience on them (good and bad). The majority of woodies also give a more out of control experience than most steel coasters do.

I put the hyper style just behind woodies. Lots of airtime, much like a woodie, but not quite the same out of control, kick in the ass experience. There are exceptions of course.

Well, i'd absolutely loved stealth so rockets are my choice.

But i'm really wondering, what are Intamin ejectors & B&M floaters? [lol]
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

Intamin ejectors - Intamin mega coasters like S:RoS, Goliath (Walibi World), Expedition GeForce. The name ejector has been made due the fact that Intamin megas have strong negative G forces on the hills. The coaster tries to eject you from the seat.

B&M floaters - B&M speed coasters like Nitro or Silver Star. The name floater means floater airtime (zero G) known on B&M hypers.
