Construction at MOA (Testing Videos Page 4)

The supervisor of the construction team says that the drop is going to be completely topped off by the end of this weekend, and either the loop or the overbank are to be put up after.

No they just poured the concrete a couple weeks ago, just for this ride, and some of the other supports have footers that are flush with the rest of the new concrete. I don't know, maybe it's just cheaper this way.

By the way here are the rest of the pictures from that bunch, and even though the lift/drop is looking amazing, I think this one is my favorite.

Does anyone know what color the trains will be? Possibly the good old sponge bob yellow??

They are moving quite quickly. I guess without having to deal with the weather, wind etc makes it go pretty quick.

Well actually it's a (semi- ?)transportable coaster, note the frame on the concrete slab. It's still abit confusing because there are some supports attached to that frame and some atached to the concrete. But I think that's the main reason why it's going up that fast.

The lead-in of the final helix dangerously looks a lot like Typhoon's final helix's lead-out (non-constant banking and radius). And that's NO good for Gerstlauer coasters.

Work started a few hours ago, but here's the first real progress so far tonight. Looks like the might not be getting to the drop/loop for a couple more days, but who knows...

No new progress as of last night, but here are some pictures from yesterday showing the completed zero-g roll and the pullout from the "immelmann," which is really just an overbanked turn.

Yeah, I'm not sure how close you get to the edge of that lower section of the roof, but it's going to be really weird to be above it, and not really be able to see the rest of the park for a second.

Some more work done.

I'm not sure it is...There are multiple entrances but the real entrance is actually in front of Screaming (Purple?) Eagle, which makes Spongebob a nice walk away.

I wasn't planning on it, but perhaps once I ride. I'll get a POV of this sometime the first month.

Like pipes said, Coastercravers.net has posted 31 new photos of the coaster. I personally cant wait to ride this ride when it opens this spring.

I'm planning on starting a recreation once it opens and I get a few rides on it. That zero-g has some really weird shaping to it though, so we'll see how it goes.

This really does look pretty nice, I hope it gets themed...somewhat.

Unfortunately that is the only right turn on the ride...

Right hand turns aren't all what they are cracked up to be. ;)

I spy a rather nice little pop of air? I hope they get that crane out before the loop goes up and it gets cornered in! [lol]

It looks like the track is now complete. I wonder how they are going to get the crane and cherry pickers out of there?
