since I got the PM that the new site is soon and that you won't be doing manual password resets if need-be, and since I haven't gotten any emails from CC in a while, this will be the last time I check to make sure I still get CC emails, so someone post please.

I had at one point subscribed to a topic just to make sure, and I remember getting a couple notifications so hopefully I should be all good.

That's because if you click the subscribe button multiple times, it will subscribe you multiple times, so you will get one email per subscription, so if you are subscribed to a topic 8 times, you will get 8 emails from that one topic when someone posts something. While most sites will ignore the extra subscription hits if you already have one, this site will not.
