SFNE Opening Weekend?

So I've been living in Boston for almost two years now, and still haven't made it out to SFNE. Finally I have a roommate with a car though and we're hoping to get out there either next weekend (opening) or the weekend after that. I know all parks are different, so could anyone that's been there this time of year tell me how busy it usually is? If it's anything like Valleyfair was last summer going on a Sunday should give us plenty of time to do everything, but I know it's a bigger park in a more populated area so things could be different. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm in Boston too, what school you go to? It's not too big of a park either, I think it's kinda small, and even if it's busy you'll be able to do everything there's not much. I went around this time two years ago it wasn't bad at all, but it was also overcast that day.
