An execution seems an easy way out. Letting him rot in prison until he dies is a better punishment IMO.

Implying that there's room left in the prisons.

Maybe you round them all up and send them to live on an island that's full of ridiculously dangerous/venomous animals... oh wait, we did that already, then they started reproducing and Australia was born, and we all know we don't want another Australia.

No executions are the better way out because with life without parole, he spends his life in prison under taxpayers. So if I was a person who had loved ones murdered by this suspect, I would rather have him executed rather than to support him throughout life.
A big drop is a good drop.

They for sure shouldnt be public. Nobody should ever have to be put through watching someone being murdered. Even for the victims family (eg for a murder case) it wont bring the person back seeing the killed die. Prisons need to be less like hotels and more like an actual punishment too.

Executions should be private because the sight of one breathing their last may tramatize those who were affected by the crime.

That's the thing, jail is not a punishment, its reformation. Jail needs to be punishment.
