Hi, now is it me or is the first element in this track very familiar?? [lol]

http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchang ... p?tid=4526

The first inversion is lifted straight from my "Kaiser Fero" track and plonked straight down in this one, with not even a slight attempt to hide it [lol]. I don't really mind, although I think some credit is due...

I just looked at it again and the other inversion is also the same inversion, just smaller, hmmmm [lol]

Gouldy, you're right, but I have to say something. When I download a great ride sometimes I use to save particular elements which impressed me.And maybe it's possible that I use them in a new track of mine.In the past I made some errors here in WWS but now I learned how to behave.I'm talking about credits to the creators and general rules. It's,however, totally right wanting credits and in this case your name should have appeared in the message. This is what I think.Bye!

giving credit for things like elements and 3ds objects created specifically for someone's track by someone else makes sense, but how do people feel about using 3ds objects that were used in much older coasters? I've accumulated quite a collection of objects that I'm frequently tempted to use, but I have no idea who made them or who to give credit to.

Well, if you know who created them then you should give credit.

http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchang ... p?tid=4576

look at that, that is the THIRD person this week to have used it without giving credit, this guy made two rides with it in! [lol] I think perhaps I should get at least a little credit, I mean, I'm actually quite flattered that people think my inversion is a good one and they want to use it, but, I really think I deserve credit, or they should make their own.

This week, THIS WEEK!...its been used by 3 seperate users, in 4 seperate rides, 5 times and not one of them gave me any credit [lol] Wait till they see my newest inversion!!! [lol] they'll be wetting themselves, they won;t be able to get it into a ride fast enough [lol][lol][lol]

Well GOuldy, you can look at it like this, you can feel flattered that your element was great enough to use, or you can be a jerk about it. I mean come on. Do you see B&M creditting the original people who invented the loop? No, therefore, I feel new inversions should not have to be credited, besides, to me, it wasn't that great of an inversion anyways, I had that in some of my very first tracks, the only difference was they were poorly made, and this was well made. Well that's just my opinion. But I would like to know what the admins think, incase if in the future, I would like to borrow some ones element.

thecool326, you could be more polite. q^.^p

Anyways, my opinion...well, I sort of think that you should give credit, but, if you dont know who made it just mention, 'I borrowed this element from someone's track'. Something like that
