I got my swinging coaster up to over 9,000 miles per hour by making a lift that pulled the cars up part way and then dropping them backwards to the station that had over 3 passes enabled. Somehow the station launched the cars backwards at a ever increasing infinite speed., but when the speed is too great the coaster crashes and freezes. Then my game crashes and quits. Why does having a continuous circuit coaster with infinite speed, crashes the coaster and the whole rct3 game after reaching a certain speed?

I've had a ride glitch like that before too. It's not uncommon. A ride hit the lift and then finished the rest of the 9,000 foot long track in 3 seconds.
