By pure chance, I found myself in working on a gig in London for 24 hours last week & the venue was right next to Hyde Park.

I literally only had an hour free whist there but I did manage to get into Winter Wonderland & got fleeced ??9 for a ride on the Olympia Looping Coaster.

Not my first time (I visited "The Dom" in Hamburg many years ago), but just as good as I remembered.

I got a few photo's on my I-Phone as I ran around the park.

Looks really fun! How was Olympia Looping? Based on a POV I've seen of the ride at WW it seems to be running slower than it does in Germany.

Apart from being freezing it was a good ride. In my opinion it was running really well and had great pace. I was sat on the back row and all 5 loops were a blast. I'd be lying if I said I could compare the pace to when I last rode it in Germany as it was about 10 years ago but I definitely enjoyed it just as much.

Unfortunately I only had time to ride Olympia Looping. It really was a 30 minute run through the park before getting back to work.

The mouse invert did look fun but also like it would leave you with a sore neck lol!

I was more disappointed that I didn't have time to enjoy all the Haunted Houses and Dark Rides, they all looked awesome.

It's a pity I live in the north of England, I would love to go back and spend the day there (even though it REALLY expensive!!)

Wow the earliest "Happy Holidays" gifts! The biggest problem for us is... coldness!

Great little trip report!

Bit saddened by the flat ride choice this year but definitely looking forward to getting a mortgage to ride Olympia Looping :D

Hehe, I love it to see how there is a mixture of mostly Germany and Dutch rides on the Winter Wonderland. xD

Or a "Skytrak" Flying Style (Let's go back to the year 1997!) for that facility might be fun! :D

It's quiet freaky that you mentioned Skytrak, I worked at GST during the whole Skytrak debacle and was trained as ride op for it. I got to ride (& be rescued) from it a fair few times...It was not a pleasant affair, lol!
