Track Description
Welcome to Hemisfair Park, the home of a one-of-a-kind LSM roller coaster experience. Among 3025 feet of tangled track, daring riders of Hemisfair Twister will be accelerated from 0 to 66 m.p.h. in mere seconds, flipped upside down 3 times, and lifted from their seats. Along the way Hemisfair Twister provides state the art headchoppers and will plunge riders 48 feet underneath the earth's surface. Without loosing any speed, riders will be slowed down to a sudden stop using LSM technology thinking, "What just hapenned." Without further ado, I present to the enthusiast community- HEMISFAIR TWISTER.

RATING / DOWNLOAD Info

-The ride is meant to be run using NL 1.6 pacing.

-While this environment was not included in the download, I prefer the ride in the Evenoss Environment if you have downloaded that coaster.

-While the ride may be short, I did not want to create an unrealistic coaster that went on forever and contained useless elements. My various influences include Storm Runner and Speed Monster.

-There are various "brushes" when tunnel tested. Please excuse these as they do no arm towards the riders.

-I am aware the LSMs go "through" the train, and IRL with the correct trains (NL does not have them) they would be fine.

-For those that rate, I am planning to send you a "secret" track that has yet to be released/ posted anywhere on the net. Hopefully this will encourage some people to rate as I have received little ratings in the past. Please keep in mind your rates should follow CS/WWS guidelines at all times.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last but not least, enjoy your ride on Hemisfair Twister! It is definitely worth your time (and money!).

T: Here you were almost flawless, the G's were kept in check, very smooth, supports were very well done. Your track really seemed like an Intamin should feel, very realistic. The only problem that I really saw was that first little dip before the first hill/stengel dive. It just seemed a bit rough, it was smooth but it felt like it may have been too quick of a transition.

A: This ride was really fast and never slowed down until the end. I liked how there were some really neat low to the ground elements, like that turn after the dive loop thing, and the roll into the tunnel. There were some really good headchoppers, one that really stood out to me was the one after that airtime hill before the roll. That was really adrenaline filled.

O: This was the only area that wasn't near perfect, but it was still good. You had some neat things such as the low rolls and the dive loop was cool, but nothing was completely original. There wasn't any element that stood out from the other ones. Like I said though this was a very accurate track, so I am judging more on accuracy to the style of Intamin.

Good job! I look forward to all your tracks.

T: Very good here. One of my favorites from you and I can tell slight improvements. Other than that, just about everything has already been mentioned.

A: Really nice in my opinion. Some people say the first hill got a little slow, but I think it gives a unique feel according to the g's.

O: Kept my attention throughout, unique elements, placement and sequence. fairly smooth flowing and the 3ds. was a nice touch.

Holy cow, this ride was awsome. It had speed, inversions, and mind boggling head choppers. Except for the cars collide on e brake, this coaster is perfect!

Very Good! I loved the smooth butter quality. Very nice. I think the only small "hiccup" was the very first dip before the inversion, but I think you knew that all ready. Great Job!

BT-obviously very smooth, with great usage of FVD. The only small flaw that I saw was in the dip right after the launch. While there was not really a pump, the turn and dip were just taken a bit too quickly. I just think you should have spread that out a tiny tiny bit. Otherwise the track was great. Supports were also very good, and I liked the colors a lot. (though they are very common)

The layout of this ride never let up. It was very compact and quick, and you never knew what was coming next. I do think you could have ended it in a more exciting way that that tunnel though. The tunnel idea was fine, but I think something more exciting than a slight curve could have been incorporated into it.

O-Most elements were not unseen in other intamin accelerators. There were some interesting orders and a FEW elements like the top hat, but other than that not much was that different.

What? Surprised at the lack of a MCBR on a rocket? Good one dude..

Um wow... Where to start...

Technical: Very smooth! I definately liked how you used lims for brakes because, theoratically they would have more stopping force than regular brakes. However, I was suprised at the lack of a MCBR, and the throughput was terrible. Two trains with three blocks? Come now. Those two docked you 1.125 points each. sorry. 7.75

Adrenaline: Very exciting!! However, the extreme wait at the launch docked a bit. definately loved the tunnel! Not much more to say except Rock On!!! 8.5

Originality: Ive seen some elements in there that I've never seen before!! I also liked the tunnel. Not many of those out today. Excelente!!! 9.25

Technicaly speaking this ride was near flawless! I too am not sure about the dip after the launch so thats why I deducted .5. Adrenaline how could it get any better and the tunnel right at the end...INCREDIBLE!!! Originality I rated 8.5 because it's another launched coaster. It is the best launched coaster I've D/L'd but because we're seeing soooooooooo many it's not the most original but, there is only so much you can do. Great ride!!! Looking forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve!

I don?????????t even know where to start???????????????????????????.. This is most definitely one of the best uploads I?????????ve ever seen here. I would have to point out that even though many of the transitions is as smooth as glass some of the elements did have some pumpy feel to it though but the rest is all good.
Great originality and I also like the way you pulled off the dark tunnel effect.

Keep up the insane Intamins Jake. [;)]

Technical: That's easy. Probably one of the best tracks ever! Smooth as silk and fast. Perfect lateral G forces going through those turns.
The adrenaline has to be high on this coaster the way it speeds along the track and the negative G and they way it enters the tunnel and goes through it is fantastic! A great finish for this ride!
Originality: Could use a little more terraforming or some 3D objects. I did manage to get in a little fishing down by the lake. Didn't catch anything but that's just my luck. Once I spent all night out on a lake and only caught 1 little bitty catfish which I threw back.
Great ride!

Cool ride jakey-wakey. I tested so I got to see this a few times along the way. The finished result was very nice.

T- Pretty much perfect, I still dont like the first little dip off the launch, I think it would cause whiplash even if the lats are low. Other than that, perfect.

A- Pretty good aswell. The only spot that I can call slow is the firt tall hill off the launch. It just seemed to go up, then turn and fall back down. You couldve made a roll at the top, or some airtime. It seemed to simple.

O- Very realistic, amazing tunnel. Not anything revolutionary though. Also I dont like the big long roll (the first one). It didn't fit Intamin's style too well.

Anyways, cool ride. Looking forward to you completing more, it worth it when you do.

I very much liked this ride, Jake. You continue to prove and improve your skills as a designer, and you obviously pushed your ability on this ride as it may be one of my favorites from you.

T: Smooth from the get go. I had the slightest concern about the LIM panels being too big, but who can really take of for something that you went the extra mile for? I was uncomfortable with how fast that first little section moved the body. The transition of forces was very fast and unhealthy to comfort. However, looking into the ride there was nothing else I could bring myself to pay negative mind to.

The supports were done to perfection and efficiency, and I could see that. Alot of designers take a lot of their time making supports the best they can and never get credited. But I noticed how well they were done and I just want to give you a congratu-damn-lations!

Adrenaline: Again, that first little blow transition was my only hesitant spot. Very safe of the amount of forces but very reluctant in my mind the way the forces are delivered. Aside from that the forces were excellent and the performance of this design was just fluent throughout. A great layout with some excellent elements thrown in. All around exhilerating. I was happy to see this ride was good in length. Nothing against DCs, but I was let down by his recent creation due to duration. However, yours clearly had substance to keep the riders entertained for quite some time and feeling that they got what they waited for on opening day.

Originality: Rockets are getting boring on this site. Same old thing. Same old elements. Same old, same old, same old. WRONG! This ride DEFINITELY kept my eyes opened. With superb pacing, a wonderful stengel to start out and a dive loop (I love those Intamin dive loops, and the way they are shapen with the heartline weening out to the side) put on display here really added up to making this ride an excellent addition to the exchange!

There's one thing that made me sigh.

Red.

Again.

[:)]

Red seems to be a very common color on these recent rockets being put up. Pink is so hot on rockets I can't even explain it. Or yellow, blue, and I especially like browns and dark greens. Especially since you just came out with a red Intamin before this, color scheme changes are vital in designers' work.

I can't bring myself to take off for something like that though. Very miniscule detail.

I must say, that this ride was incredibly well built, but what else can we expect from a master of FVD's?
T: Almost flawles! The supports, G's and the track were really good and realistic. The one little thing that bothered me was that little turn before the first hill: it jerked a wee bit ! Everything else was as good as it can get. Although, we all know that no ride, no matter how good it is, can't be perfect!

A: Like you said, I was all "WTF just happened" at the end of the ride. It really delivers pure thrill from start to the end, with no moment to catch your breath. This really couldn't get anymore fun! The one thing I would like to be changed, is to make some different inversions. Put for instance a speed roll in the place of the first corkscrew, and everything should be just fine.

O: Well, it really is very original! But the fact that there has been SO many rockets out lately, brings down originalyti a bit, along with the lack of theming. Don't get me wrong here, it was really good, even without theming, but for a perfect 10, it would have to have some more!

Allinall, a very good ride!

tech - Gs in check, nice supports, and uber smooth track work. transition after launch seemed a bit too quick, but it's surviveable (if that's a word).

adren - plenty of adrenaline here. was a really nice mix of inversions and airtime moments. my only complaint is that it was over too soon, but I figure that was what you were going for.

orig - well... there's been a lot of rides lately uploaded that are similar, ever since Maverick opened. yours is the best i've seen of them so far though. 3ds was nice too, though i feel it necessary to mention that the magnetic fins on the track protrude through the train.

T: Smoothest, best heartlined track I've ever seen anywhere. Just awesome supports too. The whole track just looks perfect. 10

A: It does remind me a lot of Storm Runner which is, to say, a VERY good thing. Pacing is unreal, and the inversions work perfectly into the layout, rather than being too numerous and pointless. So nice job here. Loved the quick transitions. Just one small gripe: there maybe could have been a little more air. =P 9.5

O: Again, awesome. Reminds me a lot of Humdinger too. You made the 3ds work into the trackwork really well. Your layout was pretty original as well. 9.5

Really nice job, I'm very impressed. And can't wait for the secret track!

Oh my god.

T: Excellent, not a bump anywhere, everything was very incredibly done. I didnt like the turn out of the station at the begining, i just felt like it was too spread out or something, idk, it just felt odd IMO. Other than that i think that this was one incredibly built track, i dont know what else to say so ill leave it at that.

A: incredible. it just kept going and going, youre coaster was like another form of an engizer battery, a better one. The drop after the launch was excellent, and really just is what made the ride start going. Also, the awesome entrance to the tunnel was another favorite of mine. Everything was perfect here, so you're getting a perfect score.

O: incredible once again. The ride was the perfect length to keep that great feel throughout it, the tunnel was excellently placed and really was an incredibly great ending to the ride. Those rolling hills were just, awesome. This ride is really one of my favorite rides that i've ever ridden. Incredible job, and i really cannot wait to see your next track. If anything, i would've liked to see more 3ds, but other than that, WOW

This is what I call a fantastic ride G3/Jakizle. This is what I love to see pop onto this site on a Saturday night. The only thing that amazes me is that it took some of us this long to reach what WingOver's been doing with HSAK forever. That guy is insane O_o.

And now, officially, by the order of King MeforIamgreat, so are you.

Tech: This was nearly flawless, the pacing was near perfection, about as good as it gets for NoLimits. Nothing exceeded the realism of what a company could provide in real life. You combined many types of elements and kept very smooth flowing transitions throughout the ride. This is something many cannot accomplish even with FVD, and you have pulled it off, and well, I might add. I found no transitional problems, but the small turn after the dive underground [that was like, sexy-time hot] felt a little strange, maybe that's just me it just seemed slightly out of place. Over all, I docked 0.5 for the for the small turn underground, it just felt strange.

Ad: It really doesn't get much better than this. I do understand that the rolling inversions such as corkscrews and rolls are really all you can do inversion wise in FVD, it did seem like there was a deficiency in inversion variety. I would've liked to see a dive loop or inclined loop in there, something to that effect. I understand that combining HSAK with FVD can be tough to keep it flawless, so I'm not going to dock you here. This is what we call perfection, or at least as close as we're going to get for a long while. Friggen fantastic.

Orig: Perfect. You never went overboard trying to be different, and you know what? Thank TConwell/Jesus/CoasterkidMWM's r... [you get the point] Far too many people are exceeding what a company can put out into the public by trying to keep their rides the most original they can possibly be, but why? It's the ride experience that has to be original, not because your dive loop as a 5 degree shift in the beginning. And you did this. Without filling your ride with pointless crap that was for nothing than to add to this section of your score you got more points than I would give 99.9% of the coasters on this website.

You stayed within the limits of a manufacturers styling and technique, and that's not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Freakin' fantastic, now go out and build something else for my enjoyment [:)]

Another great track.

Tech- this does get a little unrealistic. The first turn after the launch could have been taken more slowly, and the overbank faster. Everything else is great.

Adr: Speed kept up with the pace the whole way, except the first overbank. Other than that, it seems fine.

Org: This is actually one of the most original coasters I have ever seen. The placement of inversions, the layout, all of it is great.
