I'm a huge Sabres fan, but I was so happy to see Teemu Selanne and the Ducks hoist the cup. When Selanne cried in the post-game interview, I had tears in my eyes.

The Ducks have a lot of their key players locked up for next season too, so it looks like the Ducks have a good chance for the cup again next year. Andy McDonald and Ryan Getzlaf are amazing players that will bring a lot to Anaheim next season... I'd love to see one of them in a Sabres jersey!

Congratulations to the Anaheim Ducks and their fans!

My dad and brother were at the game. I was at my best friend's party. All was good. Today was a very good day.

I went to the 2nd game of the Stanley cup series. [:)]

Jiggy all the way man ... glad to see him get a ring. His performance in the last few years has been fairly decent, and it was good to see him get his due.

Yeah, he really deserved it. Besides the occasional soft goal let in against Detroit, he was excellent in both the Conference Semifinals and Cup Finals.

Ice Hockey rules, I wish it was on tv more here. Flyers all the way! They were the first team I watched and they wear the same colours as my Football team (Soccer to smelly people), so blatantly, it was meant to be! [lol]

Seriously though, if not for Ice Hockey, America would have no saving grace at all, all of your sports are terrible! [lol] I mean, baseball, don't get me started, it's almost as bad as cricket for goodness sake! Basketball, wtf? American Football, where the aim is to get to the other end of the field by holding and running with the ball or throwing it to each other and generally using your hands, and yet the game still tries to steal the name of another, ever so slightly more popular sport [lol] And as for the MLS (which is a seperate sport, I've decided [;)]), well, that is just a joke! And it's even more of a joke now that girly pink princess queen himself is going to play there, of course I am refering to David "help I got mud on my shirt" Beckham, THE single worst footballer ever to have played for England [lol] And the funny thing is, because he's got like 50 trillion pounds and a wife that resembles some form of alien/viginal rejection, MLS "people" seem to think they've aquirred some kind of decent player [lol], amusing.

hmmmph, what were we talking about?... oh yeah, wow yeah, Flyers all the way man! [:)]

Well he did get an MVP award the last time the ducks made it to the Stanley Cup. That's almost unheard of for some one from the losing team to get. But yea, the whole team really deserves it. They were exceptional in every area and it obviously shows.[:)]

Gouldy is a "[lol]" whore.

Beans - I remember that and when people boo'd. I was cheering in the living room and really hated to see the crowd react like that - hockey fans lost some stock that day. Showed major class when the Devils came forward and started applauding him and encouraged the crowd to show some class. Truly, he is one of the best in the league and definitely stands on his own in the class of Patrick Roy or Tom Barrasso (my personal favorite).

I hate hockey... Just like I hate soccer. Maybe if they scored more than 3-4 goals a game things would be interesting

What's wrong with a good defensive battle? 5 or so goals per game means each goal is more important, thus making the game more exciting. High scoring sports like basketball are just boring.
