Since ya'll can't ever shut up and like using outdated bad information over and over again I'm gonna return the favor so you can share in the experience of rolling your eyes and not giving a damn what someone says about something they don't care all that much about but you all hae made into a major life crisis.

Well it's actually very funny but the worst is: he doesn't sell lies. I just hoped he could beat up some more Macs other than those two systems.

Yep here it comes. Here comes the lame arguement. We've all been called an "R" because people these days are now too sissy to say "retard".

Not true. I used a MAC not to long ago and have since complained about it.

Haha, that's like me in our god forsaken Mac lab during photography.

That thing does the stupidest, unjustified shiz ever. I hate it. And it freezes more than a Windows with 1000 viruses.

...return the favor by posting a video that was describing Mac OS 9. That's like me saying that Macs are better than Windows and "proving" it with a rant about how Windows 95 is crap.

Try again.

Mac OS9 is one version behind what Mac has now. Well, technically two, but that is still much less than windows Vista, to XP, to 2000, to 98, and to 95. So.

Try again.

And Windows 95 was still better than Mac. If you know how to use a computer, any windows operating system is better.

Mac OS9 -> Panther -> Tiger -> Leopard.

I used PCs exclusively up until two years ago. I used to laugh at the Mac fanboys and spout the same kind of crap that I'm hearing in this thread.

The difference is that I can admit when I was wrong. I've gone over to the dark side now. Enjoy your viruses, spyware, trojan horses, crashes, outdated drivers, and freezes.

interesting read: http://blog.wired.com/cultofmac/2007/01 ... sta_o.html

Guess you can take it however you want. My guess is that both the pc and mac suck in their own ways. Kind of a dumb thing to bicker about if you ask me, but I guess it passes the time.

Well, I'm sure those -let's call them errors- are pretty much the fault of the person sitting on the computer chair. I've been running several Windows platforms for several years without any anti virus-software AND without getting infected with any virus, because I KNOW how to use a computer and what kind of websites I can actually visit or not.

Imagine every Windows user is suddenly going to use Mac OS now.. Every virus will be designed for Mac OS from then on. Do you REALLY think that Apple can defend their OS from these viruses? That's just naive. Windows has a superb Security center: they immediately inform you about new viruses, how they will be protecting you from it in the future (what kind of patch they will release), and how you can protect yourself from it until that patch comes out.
Mac -on the other hand- once released a patch earlier this year with a LOT of fixes without informing the users of the fact there were indeed security holes. Mac users where open to attacks for about 4 months, Apple knew it but never informed their users of the dangers. You guys were lucky that Apple isn't the market leader when it comes to their OS, so virus-programmers are just focusing on Windows platforms.

And as long as you can't update your mac (hardware-wise) you're still paying 500$ to much for a system that will be outdated between two years. That's still the main reason why people buy PCs.

I'm not praising Microsoft to heaven, as my favorite OS is still Ubuntu, but I know what I'm saying when i say Mac OS is not ready to be the next n????????? 1 OS.

Note that I said "using bad outdated information". Oh the medicine tastes sooooooo sweet doesn't it?

And hooray to Kev for contributing something useful unlike prettymuch everyone in this entire thread including me aside from an exception or two.
