I don't think I have seen a thread for this in here yet, surprisingly...

But here it is, the next GG creation that is being built in Texas.

Actually, I started a thread on here a while back on the model... back when it wasn't confirmed and people were quite doubtful that it was going in at Kemah. Thanks for the nice construction photos. Texas winter must be nice for construction.

Does anyone have any estimation when this ride will be done? I'd think it'd be fun to take a trip down there when it opens.

I would guess late May/early June based on the signage, and the fact that Memorial Day is around then. Memorial Day weekend would be a good guess, but we can't be sure. Maybe I'll mail the park and see if I can find out anything to help me plan my trip. I'm thinking about doing the "Texas Triangle" all at once.

We've been having REALLY good coaster-building weather down here lately. I'd be surprised if the building wasn't ahead of schedule by several days.

The sticky part is the slow-ass Texas regulators who have to inspect, approve, and OK its opening once building has been completed.
My body isn't a temple. It's an amusement park.

Last I heard, which was back in Jaunary, that due to the poor weather in December and January, they were about a month behind where they expected to be. I doubt they've made up that much time over the last couple months. They pretty much work 8-5 and take Sunday off.

Even though the layout looks fairly bland compared to Gravity Group's other top-notch designs, the coaster will still probably rule. It's amazing how much The Voyage and Hades completely dominate any other operating coaster out there... even CCIs are pale in comparison.

I didn't think Hades was that amazing. A very good ride yes, but not amazing. I liked nearby Avalanche better. But their rides are very inventive and original.

Dyamm...

Pacing looks incredible, as does airtime, especially in the front in some of those transitions.

If those back to back s transitions have air, which it looks like they will, then they will be crazy. I love the small hill after the 2nd turnaround, too.

Headchoppers look amazing too! Blah. I could go on and on...

I guess I'll find out July 4th-ish!
