That roll looks a little painful if taken at highspeed and with OTSR's.

In theory, this might as well be way less "painfull" than a roll taken slow, since there might not be time enouth to hit the OSTRs at all. The faster you go the "later" you drop...

We'll see.. [:D]

i don't think it will be painful. Look at it this way, its same exact thing as those S curves. The difference is instead of keeping you above your feet, it flips you upside down to change the direction, but its still the same lateral forces. If there is headbanging on the heartline roll, there will be head banging through the entire ride, i'm sure.

I love the way it whips the train down towards the ground. It will be a great surprise for anyone that's not expecting it.

When majority of your track is only what...an average of 30-60ft above the ground you can bring in 1 or 2 of those small cranes and just install peice by peice in good time. Heck, they are well beyond the highest points now.

From the looks of it, actual construction might finish up either next month or early November. Which would give them 6 months to landscape, make operational, test, and redevelop the area.

Update on my site: www.coastercravers.com/cedarpoint-2007-center.html

Photos taken on 8th-9th, looking great. That zero-g is going to be insane.

Zero G? You mean the heartline roll? The closest thing to a zero g are the horseshoe inversions. Very zero g-ish.

But that roll will be everything BUT zero g. I expect some crazy weird forces.

Wow, I didn't even know CP were building a new coaster until I saw this thread just now. This coaster has been under construction for almost a half year already? Damn, I really need to start visiting this site more often.
