Pinnacle studio 9 ,Magix movie edit pro 2005 Adobe Premier Pro, Magix video deluxe. Most of these a relativley cheap except Adobe Premier Pro
however they do a lighter version of the software.

Its so hard not to us an exlamation mark when posting!

You could try Fraps, some friends of mine use it and it's pretty good. Here are some examples of it:

You can get the program at www.fraps.com [;)]

Adobe Premier Elements, its a lot cheaper than pro, and way more practicle. I like it better than Pinnicle Studio plus, but Pinnicle is probably easier to use.
Also he said movie making, not screen capture[lol]

I would definatley go for Adobe Premier Elements, Pinnacle can be a bit unstable!. The only problem I have with Adobe is the Movie has to be render before seeing it with any effects added!, Unless they have fixed that problem I only have version 6.5!

Can anyone suggest a (free) program to record in-game/on-screen? I think fraps does it, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure about frame-rate hits.

www.fraps.com

It can go as far as 60 frames per second.

Decent movie making software is not cheap, Premiere Elements is probably one of the better ones, as is Pinnacle, they are both on the same level.

A lot of the other cheaper ones are just slightly fancier versions of Windows Movie Maker. If you have the 100 bucks, and you plan on making a few movies, or are looking to do it as a hobby, then it is worth the money.

too bad you guys dont have a mac. the movie making program that comes with the OS called iMovie is awesome! it is better than any free program windows has to offer. then you could upgrade to Final Cut which us probably th best you can get. it is a professional program.

so is Sony Vegas and Adobe Premier. It's all a matter of prefrence, actually, I don't think having Final Cut Pro, means your better than some one with Adobe Premier Pro, I haven't seen one thing that FCP can do that AP or SV can't do. They're basically all on the same level. And they each have thier pro's and thier cons.

If you'll open windows movie maker you'll see a tab, Tasks. If you can't find it, it's here a blue button under: extra and Clip. Choose it and you'll see a lot of links coming up at the left of your screen, like: import movie, import photo's, import audio or music, etc,etc...
And a little more down to you'll see make title ,etc ,etc...
That should help alot...

coasterdave, send the movie to wws, edge, or a other admin that can take care of it. Then it will take some time before they have seen the movie and approve it. Then they upload with a nice discription. A image and there it is. Uploaded on the site.
