^ Well, it is not in the rules, so you can have it more than 30 degrees, or is it 30 degree banking?

I had mine at 40 degrees.

and if you want you can angle your lift hill 90 degrees, or a launch. but realism is a big factor in the rating

Usually woodies are 30 or lower. The template requires something steeper though to make it very easy.

Am I correct in assuming you are factoring wheel hits into the tech score?

Wooden coaster lifthill steepness =/= Millennium Force lift steepness. Realistic would be no more than 28 degrees (an estimate).

Yes, what I mean is the wheels poking through the floor of the train, due to changes in banking that are too fast. I assume you are taking off tech points for this?

If won't take points of on the situation in the picture
for other cases, it depens on how severe it is. I suppose trains could be adaped to negociate the banking, to a certain amount. If the wheel is sticking too much trough the floor, points will be taking off.
