erm, well, you'll have to be more specific, Rock is a pretty vague term. According to the music shops it is anyway, Rock covers everything from Softrock e.g David Bowie or some crap, right through to Death Metal, e.g Decapitated or some other proper heavy poop. S

So yeah, be a bit more specific [lol]

hahaha, yeah, Pantera is a good suggestion, nice pounding guitar riffs with most of their songs but in "I'm Broken" especially.

If you want something a little harder than that, try 'Sepultura' (old stuff), songs like 'Chaos A.D' or 'Refuse/Resist'

You could try 'Soulfly' they're pretty good.

What kind of rock do you want? Light rock? Heavy rock?

My suggestions would be Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven, Alexisonfire (more metalish), uhhh, and I my mind has gone blank...

Metallica's good, I like some songs from Disturbed and some songs from Slipknot, but not all of thier songs are that great.
If your into the christian hard rock, discple's pretty good.
Bad Company has some semi-hard as rock songs (feel like makin` love[;)])

Nice list of some classic Death Metal bands there MoP. though what is Motley Crue doing up there?

Personally, and this is just the Bostonian in me talking, more on the punk/hardcore side of things, the Dropkick Murphy's kick some serious ass, but they have a severly Irish flare (not a bad thing) and probably not much use to you.

I was listening to the radio when I typed up that list and the new song "If I Die Tomorrow" was playing so I figured I'd throw it in there.

Led Zepplin, but Any of thier songs that would be good for a video are all kinda short.
You can also see if Staind has any good songs.

Led Zeppelin.

That's it, that's the list. You can't beat Led Zeppelin....better musicians than just about anybody, and they get off like crazy live...amazing amazing playing, and the most rocking stuff there ever has been, and probably ever will be. Any of their albums are amazing, but you must get How The West Was Won to get the full scale of their live performances...

Oh yeah, and guitar playing? Jimmy Page is a god.

Yes, if you want someone singing as if their balls are stuck in a vise, listen to Led Zeppelin.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they suck, because they don't, but I simply can't STAND that guy's voice. It's horrible. Just as bad as Geddy Lee from Rush, if not worse. The only Zeppelin song I can stand is Stairway to Heaven.

As for less singing, more music, Metallica has some "musical" songs. Orion, Call of Ktulu... Chimaira has a kickass musical song but it's like 13 minutes long.
