SFMM! Actually, I've only been to SFMM once and loved it! I dont think I'll ever get to CP for a while, at least when I'm on my own and have me a good paying job

Cedar Point is the park that brakes all the boundaries. They have owned the world's tallest coaster record 4 times in their history, and they controlled 3 out of the top 5 coasters on the Golden Ticket Awards last year. Magic Mountain's coasters are good, but just not as spectacular. (except X) [:)]

I Love Cedar Point. They Have My favorite coaster there, (Not Millennium Force or TTD, even though they are superb rides) But, for some reason I love the Mantis, that coaster is just great. It may not be the biggest, fastest or tallest but, the ride and layout is great. Cedar Point will remain the top Theme Park until they stop making world record Breakers in which I doubt will happen. SFMM is a neat park in all, but most of ther rides are either clones or close to a clone. Scream!'s a clone of Medusa, Batman: The Ride is a clone of the original.

As opposed to Cedar Point's 0? Any cloned coaster is a serious lack of originality in my opinion, and nothing at Cedar Point has ever been cloned, which makes them the most original park in America considering how many original coasters they have (all of them). Also, SFMM is in the middle of a desert... CP is out on a beautiful penninsula with a beach, marina, and an entire city basically centered around it. In my opinion, there is no equal to CP. Why else would they win the Golden Ticket Award for "best amusement park in the world" 6 years in a row?

hmmm a park that is open ALL year round or a park that is only open a few months of the year? I think I'll stick with the park that is open year round.

I have to choose Cedar Point. I had a bad experiance at SFMM with line cutters (THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM) but Cedar Point I have never had a problem there, well besides getting lost in the park by myself when I was 7 but beyond that, nothing bad at CP.

Well, I don;t like it when a park clones that much, but I also don't like the excessive trims at CP. It seems that every other coaster is trimmed beyond recoginssion.

Ex:Maggie, Gemini, Mean Streak, Mantis, Iron Dragon

But I do love CP, don't get me wrong.

The park chain that trims the most is Six Flags, which really ruins a lot of their coasters. And CP doesn't have many trims that make the ride a lot worse.

I don't understand anyone who complains about trims. Those are there for a reason. And I don't think it's the park going "I'm going to make this coaster lousy for those who ride it by installing trim brakes"

Coasters are cloned for a reason. They are good. People who enjoy them, why not make them more available? Not everyone can travel all over the place.

use your head before making stupid comments like that, "oh it's cloned so it sucks" You are an idiot. It's cloned so more ppl can ride.

I personally don't care. All parks are good, and people who judge a park cuz of trim brakes or clones are dumbasses.

Ditto that. SFStL (home park) has 3 steel rides, 2 are cloned, and they are 2 of the best cloned coasters ever! Like MoP says, they clone them because they were good! Plus, SFStL just trimmed our woodies and they are a ton more exciting! So, trimming can be good too.

umm, just to let you know, there are a million Vekoma SLC's and Vekoma Boomerangs and they suck. So cloned coasters arent always the best.
