i have an opportunity that is getting rarer and rarer to purchase this. at this time i have many vintage analog synthesizers but i have not one peice of moog gear ..
pluses..
it has external audio input,
it can be controlled by a sequencer or a midi to cv converter,
it has a moog filter that i could run anything through
it's a genuine moog,
it's only 600 bucks, a little high, but they are already selling for as much as 1000 on the bay
minuses ..
i already have an arp odyssey , an sh-1000 and the dave smith mopho, and several polysynths
it's 600 dollars that i could spend on other things ..

"both" actually. alot of people dont realize how different analog synths are from each other .. and it would be doing something that none of my others do... but seriously , when you put it like that i'm thinking i should let it fall into the hands of someone who's just starting outand waiting for something i actually want more . .. not to mention that my car needs tires right now .. thanks for everyone's input, but inspite of it .. i'm thinking no..

$600? pffft, that's about as much as a Bacon sandwich in London. Just go for it, who needs tyres on their car anyway? Just drive on the rims, you and the car will be fine, you'll just properly ruin the road, but you won't have to pay for that, people who pay taxes will! [:D]

If you haven't gotten it already, you should. You don't have to think as it as an investment! You play it all your life, then TA-DAH, it is worth $60,000 for retirement money- you get two things out of it! lol
