Not posted anything in the Hard Hat area for ages, but here it is, my newest creation: Steel Demon.

It's a Morgan inspired hyper coaster standing at 190ft high with a top speed of 71mph.

G force:
+3.3/-0.9 Vertical
+/- 1.0 lateral

Note: the track has been completed (i've made the track entirely twice over) and any noticable flaws should be saved for a rating. Any supporting or 3d modelling tips are welcome.

I plan to make a 3d station, transfer track area, maintenance shed, queueline, photobooth as well as catwalks.

I'm gonna take a wild guess that you didn't look at how they shape things at all and it's just you "being original"? Second and first pic really alarm me.

I'm going to ignore all Coasterkidmwm comments from this point forward, anyone else's comments are more than welcome.

EElover: No its not a double up, hopefully you'll be able to see in one of these new pictures...

UPDATE:

Work has been progressing on the station, pay no attention to the textures I am still learning.

Some more teasers of the layout are also available.

Looks very good. Shaping is definatly morgan-ish. Cant wait to see how it turns out!

actually, I was just about to say the opposite, and that I actually agree with CK on this one. I don't like the shaping, especially on the turns and the first drop.

This definitely looks like a B&M Hyper Coaster. Sorry, man, but there needs to be a handful of more inversions.

If this is an "Original" coaster, it looks pretty cool.

^ There's not supposed to be inversions?

And Steel Eel has a turn much like the one on this ride's drop its just smaller.

Thanks SupraSix:

Also that turnaround hill is like this:
http://www.rcdb.com/2829.htm?p=16547 (on the right)
http://www.rcdb.com/2829.htm?p=11146

The first drop is a 60* incline and has the bit near the top which almost straightens out before the main drop.

Its worth pointing out that the majority of inspiration was from Superman El Ultimo Escape at Six Flags Mexico because it is the newest Morgan hyper.

Me too actually, they make a lot of flat rides though I think.

But looking on the pics again,I have to agree with Ckidmwm, the shaping doesn't look like Morgan...
Some days ago there was a great Morgan/Arrow(not sure what it was)Hyper uploaded on exchange, maybe this will be a trend...

Several people say its not shaped properly but nobody ever offers any specifics and provides any examples. If criticism is to be constructive then its helpful to have some pointers / evidence.

that one. Looks way too smooth/pretty for a morgan.
And I can see what you're trying to do with the drop, but I think you exaggerated it a bit.
