What to do on the free fridays when Troy was finally done....? Build Troy myself!

Track is done and i'm quite satified with the result.
Supporting will be custom. I only put on the catwalks and handrails by the autosupporter. (double) ledgers, bent and lateral/diagonal bracing will be done by myself.

Anyways, progress for now....the camelback is like halfway done, so is the start of the lifthill.

Wow... if you complete the whole ride with custom supports I'd really be impressed. Lets see how long you last.

dunno, the real physics and the one from NL are far apart, but i haven't really looked at it. The track also gives airtime in the sim, big airtime, while the real ride has minor floaters.
The track is pretty accurate, not 100%, but hey, i don't have blueprints or whatsoever. Just a small layout from Jeff Pike and my 1,000+ pictures, plus i work there....so when i go to work i allways see what to do, or what to redo.

Are you using HSAK at all, specifically in the pullout seen in the 2nd NL picture of your 2nd to last post?

Yes it does, it looks like when you make hsak too steep, then the leadins/outs get overly long and the radius of the bottom is too small. That's why you're getting overly high g's there.

Well, if you use that overhead layout it shouldnt be too hard.

Youve obviously got access to alot of points in and around that track so do some calculations using the sizes of the support beams and figure heights for each hill and turn. From there, combine that with the blueprint - get it too the right length (which would mean its all too scale) and it would work out very, very closely.

You can tell it's more circular in the picture above with just the real supports.

Yea, his entrance and exits need to be lowered and flattened quite a bit. He has the exact same number of supports so if its covering the exact same area its way too pointed.

I think you should try to match the colors a little better because your ride doesn't look wooden at all, it's very orange.

I think it should be lighter, more white added too.

Looks really good hyyyper. Cant wait to see it finished. Station looks great, i hate doing stations made out of supports, they do take ages and are tricky. 3ds are probably easier, in my opinion anyway [:D]
