I was just wondering what 3d rendering software you use?

No sure if there are better ones but i use sketchup 5. Does anybody else use this? if not what do you use?

There are better autocad, 3d max

I just use Object creator. It's the simplist 3d software I know of, allthough it's does have it limitations.

I have also found the object creator the easiest to use, but i'm still not very good at it. If you haven't given it a shot I say you should.

Yes, Sketchup is perfect for buildings and simple structures. Also it is VERY easy to use and?????????it doesn't take you weeks until you understand how it works.

If you want a powerful and easy to use 3d moddeler you should go with Wings3d. http://www.wings3d.com/. I use it for all my modeling and its fenomenal. And its free!

jeeeez

Not only is Maya extremely expensive, but from what I've heard and seen about it, its extremely complicated too.

Ive been on the website, dont you have to render the objects you make, with another piece of software?

plus has anybody got sketchup, i need to know why i paint somthing and i see it in the program but somtimes not in no limits??

Yes, it's expensive, the next version up coasts $8K. As with the difficulty to use, I can't say if it's easy or not, you have to use it to find out for yourself, I find it easy. I need something that can handle a high polygon counts and animation of those objects, and that can export in various game engine formats. It's just like 3D Studio Max in the way where it's expensive and you make 3D objects.

It's simple to use and gives basic modeling features. It could use texture mapping, but it works for what I do.
