Ground has just been broken on the construction site of the two newest ICON Park attractions! They are a slingshot suspended from two 300 foot towers that will fling riders 450 feet in the air, and a 430 foot drop tower that will have seats that tilt 30 degrees. Both attractions are expected to open in December 2021.

Anyone feeling brave enough to try these?

^ Is it just me or that red tower is a tad or too thin for a (giant) drop? It looks to me stylish at least though. ;*)

Personal coaster count as of 3/2025 -- 222
"500" perhaps by the end of this year.
I will be a Thai citizen if possible in a few years.

It's probably just the concept art. I'd expect the drop tower to be the same model as Highlander at Hansa Park, and the slingshot will almost definitely be the new-gen model that uses steel cables and springs instead of elastic bungee cord.

Hopefully that we'll be able to see more "easy-to-build" yet incredibly giant structures specially in the 2020's. :*)

It certainly does! It's basically the same as Highlander, just taller. :)

The family and friends of the teen who fell off the drop tower and subsequently died needs all of our prayers.
