Acrophobia's tower located at Six Flags St Louis has been topped off.
This Intamin drop tower was previously located at the now closed Six Flags Astro World amusement park in Texas.

Nice to see that the rides aren't going to waste.

What's that? The "How many American flags can we stick in one place" competition? [lol]. What is even the point of that? [lol] Just the one flag is bad enough.

Those of you near SFStL are lucky... that particular drop tower is the scariest sit-down one I've been on. I can't really put my finger on WHY... I've been on many that are taller, but none that make my knees turn to jelly like this one. The only tower I've been on that was scarier was the standing drop tower at Warner Movie World in Germany.

I just hope that SFStL can get it to run more reliably than SFAW did. I don't think I ever saw all six cars operational at the same time.

Now why in the world are they putting a hero themed ride in the Illinois section of the park? At least name it properly. Now I just sound like CK...

I don't like freefall towers... and this one in WBMW Germany was the only tall one I've ever tried, so that was in fact VERY scary[xx(]

I love freefall towers but the ones that blast you up I dont think you get the same felling as the ones which go up slowly.
