Sorry, I though there were. But Intamin has built most of their woodies in Japan.

Thanks redunzelizer for giving the web site for the Stengel patent. It was very interesting reading. Those prefabricated wooden rails look to be stronger and will last longer than the old method of nailing one board on top of another. No need for aspirins on El Toro.

Its a Ok coaster not that much to brag about accept for the height and steepness. Its too short a couple more airtime hills should have topped it off.... Anyways its a cool coaster can't wait to ride it!

Its very clear that most of the people here haven't ridden any Intamin prefab woodie. Yes, maybe they are made like steel coasters. But taht doesn't prevent them from being some of the best coasters in the world. Balder is truly a world class coaster.

That is the most stupid thin I've ever heard. Intamin's woodies are great, and btw they make a lot of other things to other than rockets, hypers and woodies.

for those of you complaining about length, keep in mind, that this is going where the viper once stood, which was an extremly compact rought steel coaster. Great Adventure is hard up for space, so that's why it's so small, look at the kingda ka, it was built on a parkinglot.

^ it has something to do with the cranes. Once they finish the out-n-back stretch of the ride, construction on this ride should fly.
