Easy question which is the best experience on a tower ride?

Launch from the bottom

OR

Get to the top slow then drop suddenly

No one say Cliff Hanger cause I know thats both!

the drop has always given me more airtime then the launch. The best tower ride i've ridden was the discovery in mirabilandia. It kinda launches you down [pshades]

Drop. Even though I hate heights, the drops are still cooler.

Drop anyday.. Dungeon Drop at Astroworld is badass, too bad i wont be able to go on that anymore since they shut the part down :-\ But also, the slingshot rides w. the 2 bungee cords and the cage in the middle, that is AMAZING! What a rush that gives you, launch up and freefall down and going upside down and stuff... definately a good one

Drops, just because launches will always be launches, you can change how fast they go but falls will always be different, almost like they have a personality. Like when a band plays its first note, it leaves an
imprinted thought on your head.

lol but thinking about this dont you get a drop once you are launched up? Let me know if launchers actually get to go down, cause if so isnt that like 2 in 1? The only two ive been on are drops though

Yeah, you get a drop after launch (naturally). But with a launch, the drop doesn't have as much anticipation. Unless, after the launch it stalls for a bit, then that works.

When I rode the launch side of Power Tower, I said "yeah, that was pretty cool". Then, when I rode the drop side, it was one of the first times I have genuinely freaked out on a tower ride. It felt like I was 500 ft higher than I really was, and I thought I was going to fal out. My heart raced, and I just sat and prayed "come on, drop, drop" sitting in anticipation as it stalled. Then, when it finally dropped, I just screamed my guts out and had more fun than I had ever had on a non-rollercoaster. Drop for sure! the anticipation combined with being 200+ feet up and looking down at the ground just kills you, while the launch is just kind of interesting.
