New Xbox 360 S

Has anybody seen this yet? It was recently released apparently and the Arcade and Elite models were discontinued. It has a built in Wi-Fi adapter, glossy black finish, 250 GB hard drive, and is supposedly quieter. Take a look!

I'm not sure I agree with anyone. I think it looks like they hit the old one with a hammer and painted it with gloss paint... gloss paint... ewww.

Also, can anyone else see the likeness between "Kinect" and Playstation's EyeToy from about 10 years ago?

I find it amusing that it's meant to be "quieter" than the previous 360 model, because it's clear to me that being inside a car crash while a nuclear bomb went off in the passenger seat that was holding a crying baby would be quieter than the previous XBox 360 model. So it's not as if that was hard for them to acheive. It is funny though, if I have both my 360 and my PS3 on at the same time, they are sat right next to eachother but you have no idea the PS3 is even on because all you can hear is the Hurricane next to it

My Xbox is right next to my router, therefore WiFi is pointless, My Xbox runs all games of my Hard Drive, therefore super quiet. My Xbox doesn't have the tacky glossy paint. Also I have 90GB free on my Xbox Elite, I don't need another 160GB odd to waste. I'm pretty happy I don't need one of these pointless re marketed products. Way to go Microsoft, you've made yet another thing that doesn't appeal to me

^Wait, you only got a 90GB HDD? I got a 120. Also, if I were to be on PSN, it would require me to have it wired because it's a first gen. 20 GB model, and it has no Wi-fi adapter. So I have the shittiest PS3 model around. But my 360, which includes all previous models before the "S", you need to buy that piece of poop $90-$100 adapter, which I have.

I got a 120GB and have used up 30GB.

I bought my PS3 right back when it came out, the very first model and mine has wi-fi [confused]

Maybe the 20GB model (US) doesn't have WiFi? Which would be news to me. My 40GB had WiFi, they stopped selling the 60 right before I bought mine >_< So I couldn't play FFXII anymore

The 20GB model did not have WiFi. The 60 did, though.

OK, I just got the new Xbox 360... It's pretty much awesome! It is indeed very quiet compared to the older model. I like having 5 USB ports instead of 3 (one of which was permanently used for my wireless adapter). The touch sensitive buttons are a nice touch and the console "pings" when one is pressed. The power brick is super-light, which is very nice since the older one was like HUGE and bulky.
