I assume you mean that your adrenaline and other "fight or flight" hormones aren't pumping as hard on rides following your first, and therefore your average blood pressure is lower. Sounds plausible, but I'm not a neurologist/cardiologist, so I can't confirm anything.

Only about one and a half month before theme park season starts again and it will be my return after 2 years to Kings Dominion most looking forward to this ride of course

Well, we rode Intimidator 305 8 times total sunday and monday. 7 times in the front, 1 time in the back.

While, obviously its been so long that I can't remember how I305 felt the first month of operation with the original track, no trims, and regular harnesses. I'm not gonna bother trying to compare, I'm just gonna say I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with the way it is.

The new elevated curve after the 305 drop absolutely doesn't disapoint, its still rediculously intense and makes your vision gray if not black for a short time. And when I went over the 2nd hill. Let me describe it, you know its coming, but your just frozen in intensity and your vision barely recovers before the drop happens that it still hits you by surprise. Then I thought "I remember this, thats how its supposed to be, this is how it felt the first month". Sorry, I hate to say this, that hill alone is more extreme feeling than the 210 drop on Apollo's Chariot. More extreme that is, but Apollo's Chariot's first drop is still better in that its longer and you feel the wind more. Then, the rest of the ride, nothing you haven't heard about it before, very intense turns and a nice hill. But, so much better with the new soft harnesses.

No matter how good the rides are, my other 3 favorite rides (Volcano, Apollo's Chariot, and Griffon), you get used to them and they are still awesome, but you get used to them. You don't really get used to I305, it really hits you hard like that level of intensity and surprises you everytime how fast it goes and extreme it gets.

As far as my favorite coasters in VA goes. Theres great ones. Dominator, Alpengeist, Grizzly, Flight of Fear. Then theres my favorites that really offer something special, Volcano, Apollo's Chariot, Griffon. Then theres the sole one clearly better than all the others and surpass my favorite which is I305.

Alright, I've done enough praise of this coaster, I'm sure you're all sick of hearing it from me by now.

Just one more thing though, while the back seat is terrific too. The front seat, with THAT much freakin wind pushing your body back. It really amplifies the speed and sound. Way better in the front row.

I wonder how this ride will age. Anybody who went on it recently find it to be rougher than last year?

Also i have the choice to make a trip to cp or kd and bgw so what would be a better idea? I have already been to all of them but have yetto ride verbolten and havent been to cp in 5 yrs

I'd say KD + BGE > CP, but that may be because CP is my home park and I find it to be lacking, or I'm just becoming jaded. KD and BGE have so much to offer. You may want to wait until next year when CP has a nice Wingrider installment to make that big trip.

BGW = CP
BGW+KD > CP

I305 is also glass smooth the whole ride, I don't think it's gotten rougher.

I rode I-305 2 months ago and it was as smooth as can possibly be. All around 100 percent perfect coaster.

Its weird because since my last visit it is more like KD=CP and BGW<CP...

And thats awesome! Im really hoping the new track has solved intamin rattle. 100% perfect feels like an understatement btw.

How can 100% perfect logically be an understatement?

Equivalencies aside, they all have great things to offer. Another thing to consider is whether it's worth traveling to one park or two parks.

It hasn't. I rode Skyrush last weekend and it was bumpier than Comet. And skyrush is even newer than I305.

I305 is special then, no rattle what so ever.

I thought SkyRush was extremely smooth for those style of trains, all things considered. Some people can't handle the intensity, I guess.

^Lol people do tend to mistake intensity for roughness. Cyclone at SFNE is exhibit A of that one. Not even remotely rough just very jerky and intense!

Well, I rode it 4 times. 3 in wing seats and once in a center seat. Don't get me wrong, the ride is phenomenal (except for the fact that the lap bar gives you a bruise...), but it's noticeably shaky. It wasn't rough, per se, but it vibrated a lot, which is something that I don't think should be happening on a 3-month-old ride.

I would actually love to see what the B&M design submitted for SkyRush looked like (apparently Hershey shopped around with bids from several manufacturers). They've never done a hyper in such a compact space.

And I've heard the new, more plush lap bars for SkyRush are less painful but still not ideal. I felt alone in my thought that the trains looked like an ergonomic fail when they were first revealed. Would the OTSRs found on I305 be preferable??

B&M didn't submit anything, it was intamin and another company who had an innovative spinner with an inversions around the kissing tower

^I specifically recall B&M being listed as among considered manufacturers. I thought that only Intamin and the other company were highlighted but all submitted bids. Maybe B&M declined to submit anything after being contacted given how many projects they had on the docket for 2012. Or they just didn't want to build on something other than a flat tract of land =P

The spinning coaster was submitted by Mack, I never heard anything about B&M showing a ride.
