Who here would like to see a WWS/CC nolimits community project using rules similar to these; http://nldc.interfix.net/pageid-2.html ?
The project would be open to anyone who wants to take part.

If there is enough people who are actually interested, this could very well become a reality and would be hosted by myself in the contest forum. [:)]

Vote yes or no if you would be interesting in participating.

This works wonderfully IF you have someone to moderate it and take charge. You need someone to stick to the rules and hold people accountable for what they do and dont do.

Real hit it right on. I have been involved in group projects before and when folks fail to come through, they REALLY hurt the overall group dynamic -- not too mention add more work onto other members. So, IMHO caution is advised here on who is accepted (does their work speak for itself), and is their credibility actually reliable?

I disagree, TConwell. I agree with Real in that the moderator must hold people accountable and enforce the rules, but I don't think that only certain people should be allowed to take part. Anybody should be given a chance, IMO, and if they don't finish in time, then it just moves on to someone else, no big deal.

Im not sure, i like the idea, but i can see it getting out of hand if not controlled properly because all the different people who would take part would vary greatly in quality of building. So you could end up with people falling out about their parts saying they are cR@p due to some of the really immature people on here, not mentioning any names! [lol]

I think this would be great. It has been realy difficult getting a turn at the CS version. Hopefully it will be easier here[;)] And I think FN would make a great judge.

and make sure there will be pairings, so that there won't be one group of 50 but 5 of 10

This sounds very similar to what I remember working with (we'll see if any others remember). This project was called WeeWeeSlap's Playhouse or something like that. It was a big fantasy coaster that eventually flopped. Whoever's in charge should enforce rules and if it's not submitted by a user who has the track passed to them by a certain date, then it goes onto someone else. That's the best way I can think of moderating this project.

^Yes, the rules would be enforced and I would be the one moderating/hosting the project.
