Honestly I always thought Queens of the Stone Age was a 1 hit wonder group.

Why would you say that? I only hear one of their songs on the radio now and then, but their albums are actually pretty good, though not necessarily the most radio friendly. They're actually still pretty popular, they sold out two nights at the Hollywood Palladium, which equates to about 8,000 people, not to shabby if you ask me.
