Its nothing special. It woul be fun, but if you see the front car where it is, that would be very scary. Its kind of hanging over the drop. Ive seen this vid all over the net now.
Yes, well, I suffer from vertigo and I WOULD be sick if I was up there for that long, unless I curled up in a ball and just looked at nothing but the floor of the train. But I certainly wouldn't want that guys job!! Having to go up there and sort if out, no way, not for me
i would love it to go up there and get stuck! Then i'd have the longest ttd ride that ever was taken! And i'd got more a change to enjoy the view then except a normal 1-2sec that your going over the top...
i remember being on ripcord and we got the very top and the microphone to tell us to pull the ripcord broke so we were up there waiting for them to be smart enough to yell at us to pull it. my dad screamed like a baby it was great LOL
That isnt nothing new. It happened about 2 times before that in the same week. I think its casue the summers here have been pretty hot, so the trains are having a hard time making it up
I'm guessing that the guy that went up there just pushed the train off. It would have been really cool if he'd pushed it off the back so they could do the whole thing again, with a rollback and another launch.
You couldn't just "Push" it off. That is a liabiliy issue for the park. There has to be somthing up there, some sort of mechinisum that would push it over with out having to come in physical contact with the train. If that guys foot ever got stuck to the train as he was pushing it... And not only is it a safty issue for the Guy up there, but for the riders on the coaster as well. Intamin had to have acounted for this to happen some time in the life span of TTD, They took the roll backs in to consideration! so there has to be somthing up there.
